It was the last day. So many people came. I too, dunt wanna miss it.
You can check their website about more of their artworks if youre interested. The artwork project 'The GATES' lasted for 16 days only last February. I wonder what kindof artwork would be comin up more from them after this.

Date: The last day of the 'THE GATES'
..by Christo and Jeanne-Claude. I am not really an art lover. I somehow dunt understand the reason for this project. Its like, 'o..kayyy.. theres orange flagss around this park..annnddd.. soo..now, what?' Im sure its something theyre passionate about, doing something different. They have a lot of other artworks around the world. I like the one 'The Valley Curtain, Riffle-Colorado', 'Surrounded Island, Miami-Florida', 'The Umbrellas- Japan', 'Wrapped Reichstag, Berlin' and 'The Wall-Germany'. Fuh, gilelah.

13 hours drivin + about another 14 hours drive.

Colorado-Vegas then Vegas-Colorado. Driver berlesen: Athaff, Syed, Abot. Driver tanpa lesen sah: shamsul and me. Perjalanan gile jauh. Sebaik saja mendarat di Denver after an hour flight delay, amik kete sewa. Gerak lembap gile, sebab salji tgh turun. it was snow storm. Berkesempatan lalu rocky mountain sumer..

..wihout her, i wouldnt be this strong.
To dearly her, Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind. It can be hurtful and not always fair... it pulls the heartstrings and play with the mind...
but no matter how hard life sometimes seems to be, she never put away her smile on her face, and for that ..i envy her, and wish that i could be as strong as she. .

Event: Photo Exhibition and a talk on 'Violence Against Women in Sudan'

Well, women in Sudan have one of the lowest rates of literacy in the world. They have a greater chance of dying in childbirth than of having a primary school education. Many other alarming situations were touched upon throughout the night. But i wasnt really listening. Had to rush to another event at a Jewish Center in campus, just to take pictures of them watching a documentary about 'Woman and Abortion' from the perspective of Catholic, Jewish and Islam. he he.. but it turned out that theres no Muslim. Weird though, since im the only one covering(hijab). kat Jewish center lak tuh. But what to do, it was one of my assigned event as the photographer for the Daily Colonial. The event above was already taken by Lutz, another photographer from the Daily Colonial. Look at his camera. isk jealous tul! This was not my assigned event, but i went anyway, since theres a photo exhibition.
Well, my little brother and sister, went to Sudan for 2 years to hafizt Al-QUran. I know a lil about the country from them. Still remember, . Yasmin told me that since her frequent visit to the Nil river, she didnt feel like goin back, she really like it there. I seriously dunt understand, but i guess the 'barakah' from tahfizin the Quran made her feel that way. They were both so little at the time, 10 and 12 years old. But dad took them back home after 2 years to study academic and Hafidz at Indramayu..
